Internet users hit 98.3 million in December, says NCC

The net customers extended marginally to ninety eight.3million in November, the Nigerian Communications Commission, has stated.

The NCC made this disclosure in its Monthly Internet Subscribers Data for December 2017 on its internet site on Thursday in Abuja.

According to the records, Airtel, MTN, and Glo received greater internet subscribers for the duration of the month in review at the same time as 9mobile became the large loser.

The data additionally showed that average, net users multiplied with the aid of ninety eight,391,456 in December from ninety four, 818,553 in November showing an growth 3, 572,903.

It stated Airtel won the maximum with 911,040 new internet customers in December amounting to 23,985.203 customers as towards 23,074,163 users in November.

The data confirmed that Globacom also received 87,538 new users in December because the figure recorded was 26,997,817 as against 26,910,279  in November.
